Read the model in context
The watt rating is the real-power ceiling, while the VA rating is a separate apparent-power limit. Compare both with the computer, display and network equipment, and connect high-priority gear to the battery-backed outlets shown above. The surge-only outlets do not continue running when mains power fails.
APC’s runtime point is tied to the manufacturer page’s maximum-load setting. It cannot be stretched into an estimate for another desktop or NAS load; use the source chart and the actual measured draw for planning.
