Power bank profiles for MacBook Air

Apple documents USB-C Power Delivery and system-rated input points for the exact MacBook Air sizes below. We compare those published points with a bank’s documented USB-C output profile; a match does not certify device behavior or sustained charging speed.

We separate a device’s published system rating, its adapter’s output rating, and its actual sustained consumption. Actual device load is unknown in this comparison.

Manufacturer-published system ratings for this version:

  • 20 V × 1.5 A (30.0 W)
  • 20 V × 1.75 A (35.0 W)
  • 20 V × 3 A (60.0 W)
  • 20.6 V × 3.4 A (70.0 W)

System-rating OEM source · checked 2026-10-17

These are published system ratings, not measured sustained consumption or a guaranteed minimum input.

Adapter rating is separate

Bundled adapter varies by GPU configuration; Apple lists 30W or 35W adapters and an optional 70W fast-charge adapter.

30 / 35 W configuration range

Optional fast-charge adapter target: 70 W (OEM tech specs).

Adapter-rating OEM source · checked 2026-10-17

The adapter rating is not automatically a minimum input for the device. A lower-output bank may simply deliver less power or charge more slowly; exact behavior remains model- and load-dependent.

Sourced voltage/current point matches

Each listed point matches a published device system rating by voltage and available current, within that port’s watt ceiling. PD protocol, cable and device behavior remain separate conditions.

Estimate energy equivalents for 13-inch MacBook Air (M4, 2025)

Enter the bank’s explicitly published Wh rating and your own conversion-efficiency assumption. The formula applies that assumed loss once; it does not turn mAh into Wh or predict device behavior.

Device energy: 53.8 Wh from the OEM source. Source checked 2026-10-17.

Enter both values to calculate a fractional energy equivalent.

Formula: bank rated Wh × your efficiency assumption ÷ device battery Wh. The result is an arithmetic estimate from your inputs and the dated OEM battery figure above. A device may consume energy while running, and its charging system may stop at different levels.

How we read these profiles

  • We match only explicit fixed voltage/current points from the reviewed sources. PPS ranges are not treated as fixed points.
  • Even an exact rating point is conditional: USB PD revision, negotiated behavior, port sharing and cable capability still matter.
  • A higher bank maximum does not prove the device will draw it. A lower bank rating than a bundled adapter does not prove the device cannot charge.
  • Where the OEM does not publish the complete device sink profile, we show output examples without ranking them by wattage.
