INIU P62-E1 20,000mAh 65W Power Bank review

Exact model: P62-E1

Product identity · checked 2026-10-12

Our take

Choose the P62 for a USB-C laptop you can charge at up to 65W. If you connect a phone too, the laptop port drops to 45W. Check that lower rate against what your laptop needs while you work.

The buying decision

Should you buy it?

For a laptop you charge on its own

INIU rates USB-C1 at up to 65W with PD3.0/PPS/QC support, alongside a 36W USB-C2 and 18W USB-A. The full 65W is available with USB-C1 used alone. With both USB-C ports active, the split is 45W plus 20W.

Know this before you buy

INIU specifies 45W plus 20W with both USB-C ports connected, or 45W plus a shared 15W with all three ports connected. The 65W rating describes USB-C1 alone. Connecting more devices lowers what each connection receives.

What this score tells you

Each reading gets a percentile within its group. Higher output, capacity and input score better. Lower weight scores better. Ties share a midpoint. We combine those percentiles using the weights above and round the final result.

A score of 100 means the strongest combination in this peer set, not a perfect power bank. Scores can change when we update a rating or publish another model. Compare scores within the same group.

The score does not include wireless charging, weather protection, price or safety. Capacity is the manufacturer’s mAh rating, not usable USB energy or a phone recharge count. Check the verdict and charging limits before you buy.

What changes the choice

Other drawbacks to consider

No explicit watt-hour rating in our sources

INIU’s page states the 20,000mAh capacity without an explicit Wh rating, so this dossier leaves watt-hours unknown. A passing page note mentions 73Wh in a TSA context, but it is not presented as a specification and is excluded from the metrics.

Before connecting devices

Ports and charging behavior

A port’s published maximum and the combined multi-port limit are separate ratings. A device can draw less than the bank’s maximum based on its own requirements and the negotiated charging profile.

Recharge over USB-C1 at up to 45W

INIU lists input from 5V⎓3A up to 20V⎓2.25A through USB-C1. Reaching the 45W ceiling needs a charger and cable that support the negotiated profile.

Exact-model questions

Frequently asked questions

Can one laptop draw 65W while other devices charge?

No. USB-C1 reaches 65W on its own. Connecting USB-C2 changes the split to 45W plus 20W. With all three ports in use, USB-C1 gets 45W and the other two share 15W.

Is the P62-E1 the same bank as the INIU BI-B62?

No. The P62-E1 is the current Cougar-series 20,000mAh 65W US listing in our sources. BI-B62 does not appear as a current official-store listing, so the two should not be treated as one model.
