Jackery SolarSaga 100 Air review

Exact revision: JS-100H

We review the SolarSaga 100 Air as a bifacial folding panel for portable charging. Its manual separates standard-test output from its bifacial test rating, and the included cable kit gives it a DC charging path plus USB outputs on the cable adapter.

Our verdict

A considered fit when the station accepts the panel’s DC8020 lead or included DC7909 adapter. Verify the station’s solar-input voltage and current limits against the panel specs, and confirm the exact unit dimensions before buying for a tight storage space: Jackery’s JS-100H references disagree.

Review notes

Where it fits

Best for a cable-ready portable setup

The package is aimed at buyers who want to unfold a panel, use its rear supports to face the panel toward the sun, and charge a Jackery station through DC input. USB-A and USB-C charging are shown on the multifunction cable adapter, rather than as a substitute for the panel’s DC station connection.

What changes the decision

Tradeoffs

Jackery’s dimensions conflict

The JS-100H manual lists folded dimensions of 433 × 423 × 47 mm and unfolded dimensions of 1668 × 423 × 17 mm. Jackery Support’s JS-100H article instead lists 423.5 × 423 × 47 mm folded and 1630 × 423 × 17 mm unfolded. Jackery does not explain the difference; check the model label and supplied manual before planning storage clearance.

Before connecting

Setup and compatibility

Match the station-side connector

Use the included multifunction charging cable with this JS-100H panel only. Connect its DC8020 end to a station with a DC8020 input, or attach the included DC8020-to-DC7909 adapter for a DC7909 input. Jackery describes its separate DC8020-to-USB-C cable for compatible station inputs.

Read the exact power-station manual before pairing equipment. Our solar panel pairing guide explains the input checks, and the solar recharge deficit tool estimates whether a setup can keep pace with daily use.
