Every unit here passed a sourced electrical check for an oxygen concentrator and a nebulizer. That is the entire claim. This is not a ranking of life-support suitability, and no station on it should be a household's only plan for powered medical equipment. Utilities keep medical-priority registries and public health agencies publish outage plans for exactly this situation; a battery is one layer inside that plan, not the plan.

This page applies two deliberately strict gates and shows what survives them: a published switchover figure, and enough reserve for two full days of the sourced load rather than one. Both are conservative on purpose. Where a manufacturer publishes nothing about the moment mains power disappears, there is nothing we can responsibly say about it either, and silence is the honest output.

Where buyers get this ranking wrong

Planning around a single night. Outages that matter to somebody with equipment at home are rarely the eight-hour kind, and a reserve sized to one day leaves no margin for a cold house, a longer therapy session, or a recharge window that never arrives. National emergency preparedness guidance for people who depend on powered equipment consistently points the other way, toward more margin than the arithmetic suggests.

What this ranking cannot see

BatteryRank has no medical expertise and claims none. Our figures come from OEM manuals and model both devices as running continuously, which overstates the nebulizer considerably — an overstatement we keep because erring large is the safe direction here. Nothing on this page is medical advice, a therapy assurance, or a substitute for the equipment manual and the people who prescribed it.

The two requirements

  • The load is a portable oxygen concentrator at its OEM maximum of 85 W plus a 12 W compressor nebulizer, both modelled as running continuously — an overestimate we keep on purpose.
  • A published UPS switchover figure is required. Where the specification does not exist, we have nothing to say about what happens at the moment the grid drops, so the station is not listed.
  • At least 4,080 Wh of battery-side usable energy — two full days of that load. Planning a single day is the wrong unit for equipment somebody depends on.
  • None of this is medical advice, and none of it is a therapy assurance. Your equipment’s manual and your care team decide what is adequate; consult national outage guidance for medical equipment as well.

Why model the devices as running continuously when they do not?
Because the error direction matters more than the accuracy here. A nebulizer runs for minutes at a time, so treating it as constant overstates the load — and an overstated load produces a larger reserve, which is the failure we would rather have. Anywhere else on this site that assumption would be a bug.
Does a longer switchover time mean the station is unsuitable?
It means we cannot tell you what happens at the moment of the cut, which is not the same finding. Some equipment restarts happily and some does not, and the manual for your own device is where that answer lives rather than in any battery specification.
