Switchover time is a different question from every other ranking here, because it is not about how much energy a station holds but about what happens in the instant the grid stops. A station in pass-through mode is a bridge the load never notices — until the bridge takes twenty milliseconds to build, and the desktop, the network switch, or the aquarium controller reboots anyway.
Wiring a whole circuit through pass-through because the inverter rating says it will fit. The continuous current a station will pass from the wall is usually well below what its own inverter can produce, and exceeding it trips the unit — turning a backup device into the cause of the outage. The second error is assuming a fast transfer protects a load that was never going to survive one.
Every figure here is a manufacturer specification, and a transfer time is a property of a circuit under conditions nobody publishes. Whether your specific equipment survives a given gap depends on the hold-up capacitance inside its own power supply, which is not a specification consumer electronics ship with. The only reliable test is pulling the plug and watching what happens.
