At a glance

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic (1024Wh) is a midsize (1 kwh class) model best suited to camper. It supplies 1,800 W of continuous AC output. BatteryRank scores it 50 out of 100 within its size class.

Our verdict on the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic (1024Wh)

The base rung of the DELTA 3 line, and the trade-offs are exactly what you would expect at the bottom of a range: 1,024 Wh with a strong 1,800 W inverter and 3,600 W surge, but a sealed pack and only 500 W of solar input — half what its Max Plus sibling accepts. At 12.1 kg with a 10 ms switchover it is a capable indoor backup unit. The solar ceiling is what disqualifies it from off-grid duty.

Choose this if
  • You want appliance-grade output in a unit one person moves easily1,800 W continuous with a 3,600 W surge ceiling covers a microwave or a kettle individually, in a 12.1 kg body.
  • It will spend its life indoors on grid backupThe 10 ms switchover and 3,600 W of headroom suit a home office or a kitchen counter, where the 500 W solar limit never comes up.
Skip this if

The honest limit: EcoFlow markets the DELTA 3 family on fast charging and UPS behaviour, and the Classic inherits the 10 ms switchover honestly. What it does not inherit is the charging infrastructure around it — a 500 W solar ceiling is the lowest in the family, so the "charge anywhere" framing that applies to its siblings applies considerably less here.

What our data can’t tell you: This unit has one of the thinner records in our catalog: no cycle-life rating, no depth-of-discharge threshold, no AC outlet count, no usable capacity and no wall-recharge time. The missing cycle rating is the most consequential, because it is the figure that tells you how many years of service the sealed 1,024 Wh represents.

How this score is computed

The BatteryRank score is computed from sourced data with a published formula — ranked by data, not lab testing. Seven sub-scores blend into a 0–100 composite, grouped into four buyer pillars. Price is deliberately not a scoring input: prices move daily, so value intelligence lives in the price section above, judged against this model's own history.

Scores are cohort-relative — each model is ranked against others in its size class. Missing inputs renormalize out rather than scoring zero (a model is never penalized for a spec nobody in its class publishes), and any figure resting on a documented estimate is tagged est.
