EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra is a xl / home-backup model best suited to cpap traveler. It supplies 3,600 W of continuous AC output. BatteryRank scores it 60 out of 100 within its size class.
Our verdict on the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra
The DELTA 3 Ultra is built around recharge speed rather than storage. 3,072 Wh is unremarkable at this size, but refilling it from a wall socket takes 89 minutes, which is faster than several units holding a third as much. Add split-phase 240 V and a 10 ms switchover and the design intent is clear: a unit that spends its life plugged in, absorbing outages and recovering before the next one. The 800 W solar ceiling is the number that does not fit.
- Your grid is unreliable in bursts rather than out for daysAn 89-minute full recharge means a single restored hour and a half returns the whole 3,072 Wh, which is the behaviour that matters when power flickers repeatedly.
- You have equipment that cannot tolerate a gap in supplyThe 10 ms switchover is fast enough for desktop computers and networking gear, which typically ride through anything under about 20 ms without restarting.
- You need 240 V but not 60 kg of hardwareSplit-phase output at 32.7 kg is unusual — most units offering it in our catalog are substantially heavier.
- You intend to run it off-grid on solarThe 800 W solar ceiling is the weak point of this design — lower than the 1,000 W the half-size DELTA 3 Max Plus accepts, and it takes most of a clear day to move 3,072 Wh. The DELTA Pro Ultra holds 6,144 Wh and takes 5,600 W of solar rather than 800 W.
- The unit needs to move with you regularly32.7 kg with split-phase hardware inside is a stationary-appliance weight, and the fast recharge that justifies it only helps where there is a socket. The DELTA 3 Max Plus is 22.1 kg while keeping a 3,000 W inverter.
The honest limit: EcoFlow leads with charging speed and the 89-minute figure holds up, but fast AC charging is not free. Pushing that much power into a pack quickly generates heat, which is why fan behaviour during a rapid refill is a common owner complaint across this product family. We hold no noise figure for this unit, so we cannot tell you how loud that gets in a room you occupy.
What our data can’t tell you: The 4,000-cycle rating here is quoted to 80 percent of original capacity while several Jackery units in the same class quote to 70 percent — a looser threshold that makes their numbers look better than a like-for-like comparison would. We also hold no noise reading, no dimensions and no maximum expansion figure for this model.

How this score is computed
The BatteryRank score is computed from sourced data with a published formula — ranked by data, not lab testing. Seven sub-scores blend into a 0–100 composite, grouped into four buyer pillars. Price is deliberately not a scoring input: prices move daily, so value intelligence lives in the price section above, judged against this model's own history.
| Pillar | Built from |
|---|---|
| Power | Capacity & expansion + Output & versatility |
| Trust | Trust & reliability + Durability & longevity |
| Charging | Charging & solar |
| Livability | Portability + Quiet / livability |
Scores are cohort-relative — each model is ranked against others in its size class. Missing inputs renormalize out rather than scoring zero (a model is never penalized for a spec nobody in its class publishes), and any figure resting on a documented estimate is tagged est. Quick answers
Each answer restates a sourced figure from elsewhere on this page — nothing new, nothing guessed.
- How much does the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra weigh?
- 32.7 kg (72.1 lb), manufacturer-claimed, without accessories.
- What are the dimensions of the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra?
- 626 × 328 × 395 mm (24.6 × 12.9 × 15.6 in), length × width × height, manufacturer-claimed.
- How much capacity does the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra deliver through an AC outlet?
- About 2,611 Wh of the rated 3,072 Wh reaches an AC outlet from a full charge — an estimate after our published 15% inverter-loss constant (marked est. on this page).
- How long does the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra take to charge?
- 1 h 29 min from a wall outlet, 0 to 100%, manufacturer-claimed. Fast-charge modes and solar input differ — see the charging specs on this page.
- How many watts can the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra output?
- 3,600 W continuous AC output and 7,200 W surge output, manufacturer-claimed. Appliance startup demand must stay within the relevant limit.
- How much solar input can the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra accept?
- 800 W maximum solar input, manufacturer-claimed. Actual harvest depends on panel compatibility, sun, orientation, temperature, and conversion losses.
- What is the cycle-life rating of the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra?
- 4,000 cycles to 80% remaining capacity, manufacturer-claimed. A cycle rating is not a calendar-life guarantee.
- Can the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra work as a UPS?
- Its manufacturer-claimed transfer time is 10 ms. Confirm that your connected equipment tolerates that transfer time; this is not the same as a zero-transfer online UPS.
